Krystal Markham
Krystal Markham
INSTRUCTOR

Krystal Markham was born and raised in Topeka, KS. She began dancing at Dance Factory at the age of 3 years old. While at Dance Factory, she joined their competition team in the 3rd grade. Miss Kelly was her first competition teacher. Beginning in the 8th grade, Krystal began dancing at Fuzion School of Dance. She continued to dance competitively through the Showstopper and Excel programs. Her favorite part about competition was going to dance conventions and taking class from world-renowned dancers and choreographers. While at Dance Factory and Fuzion School of Dance, she also trained for several years at Topeka Ballet expanding her ballet technique which helped her in all styles of dance.

Krystal attended Washburn University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. During college, Krystal was a member of the Kansas Koyotes Dance Team and performed at the Kansas Expocentre during all home arena football games. She met several dancers while dancing with the Koyotes including Miss Alyssa. While attending Washburn, Krystal choreographed many routines for the sorority where she was a member. This taught her many leadership skills and important teaching habits. Krystal is trained in all styles and enjoys teaching all styles and ages, but really loves tap! Tap is a musical instrument and she enjoys being able to make music by simply tapping. She loves teaching at Fuzion and hopes that each and every student she teaches shares that same passion. Fuzion School of Dance is a family, and she is blessed to be a part of it.
