SHOOTING STARS

Creative Movement offers dancers (age 3) a space for exploration, improvisation, and expression through movement. Children continue to develop large and fine motor skills, as well as coordination, rhythm, teamwork, and listening skills. Dancers learn basic ballet skills and terminology, across the floor movement, mat exploration, and age appropriate dances and combinations.

Pre Class Playtime: The 15 minutes prior to the official class start time for dancers to explore their dance space. It allows the dancers time to get acclimated to the space and excited for dance class. Parents are welcome during this playtime and can leave the room when they feel their dancer is feeling comfortable. No siblings allowed for playtime.

Class Times
A 30-minute class held one time per week. Choose from the following classes:
Monday 5:45 - 6:15pm
Tuesday 10:15 - 10:45 am
Tuesday 5:45 - 6:15 pm

The goal of the Preschool Tap/Ballet Combo program is to instill a love of dance into 4-year-olds. Our youngest dancers learn basic ballet and tap movements in a positive and fun environment. Proper technique is taught through creative dances and exercises.

This Preschool Jazz/Ballet Combo class introduces a stylistic dance vocabulary for a fun and expressive way of dancing. The class is a fun and well-rounded introduction to dance for young students.

The Tap/Ballet Combo class will enhance your dancer’s coordination, balance, and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Tap classes are the quickest way to develop coordination and rhythmic ability. Tap is highly recommended for all dancers who desire to have a well-rounded base of dance knowledge!

Our Jazz/Ballet Combo class will enhance your dancer’s coordination, balance, and flexibility with the teaching of basic ballet positions, steps, and terminology through standing barre work and simple center floor exercises. Dancers will learn the basic steps of jazz dance with turns, kicks, and leap steps along with rhythm techniques and fun expression paired with popular and age appropriate music.

Class Overview
A 30-minute class held one time per week, our Adaptive Dance program provides an opportunity for dancers with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities or delays. Fuzion’s Adaptive Dance class is designed and modified to deliver creative movement in a safe environment. Fuzion faculty instructing these classes are professionally trained in Rhythm Works; a rhythm and dance program designed for individual learning differences and other special needs.

Adaptive 1: Wednesday 4:30 - 5:00pm
Adaptive 2: Wednesday 5:00 - 5:30pm

Preschool Acro Arts - A 45-minute acro dance class that is held once per week.

Acro Arts - A 60-minute acro dance class that is held once per week.

This is a very progressive program that teaches and guides dancers how to introduce acrobatics into dance. It's not a gymnastics class, but an "acro for dance" class. NOTE: All dancers must be evaluated BEFORE enrolling in Acrobatic Arts (this does NOT include Preschool Acro). Please email the studio at fuzionstrong@gmail.com to set up an evaluation time.
